Does This View Spring From Low Energy?

One way of assessing a particular view of life is to ask, “Does this spring from low energy, or on the contrary is it an expression of highly refined energy?”

The view, for example, of a tormented soul or a Debbie Downer comes from a low energy state, one typified by darkness, gloom, resentment, and, above all, doubt.

A view of life that exudes universal love–a view that can be found in the Gospel, for instance–reveals that a higher energetic state has been attained.

Naturally, this brief consideration leads to two existential questions. First, ask yourself, “Is my thinking as clear and as sharp as possible?” Second, consider: “Is my energy so potent that it’s yea-saying to all that transpires–or not?”

Both clarity and subtle energy are signs of flourishing whereas foggy thinking and low energy indicate that your deepest potential has yet to be realized.
